ACC appointments are funded — all ACC patients pay a co-payment per visit. Private fees apply for non-ACC conditions and specialist assessments.
We're an ACC Registered Provider, which means injuries caused by an accident — at work, playing sport, at home, or on the road — are ACC funded. A co-payment applies per visit. If you're not sure whether your injury qualifies for ACC, just ask us before you book. We'll give you a straight answer.
For non-ACC conditions, private fees apply.
How and when you pay. When you book, we take a deposit to hold your appointment. After your visit we work out whether your treatment is covered by ACC or is private, because that is often only clear once we have seen you. We then charge the remaining balance to the same card and email you a receipt showing exactly what was charged and why. If the deposit covers the full amount, nothing further is charged. If it comes to more than you owe, we refund the difference.
If you would rather not have a card held on file, tell us when you book and we will take payment in clinic instead. We accept EFTPOS, credit card, and bank transfer. Full details are in our Payment Terms.
